You can feel confident in choosing James C. Logan, Inc. Moving & Storage for your local move. Since 1938, Logan Moving has been providing local moving services to Delaware County, Chester County, the Main Line and Wilmington, Delaware areas.

Local moves are priced on an hourly basis. But beware, don’t be fooled by that moving company offering the lowest hourly rate! If it takes them twice as long to do your move, you’re not saving any money. There are many fly-by-night local moving companies. Be on the lookout for local movers who have not been in business long.

To avoid this pitfall, make sure the moving company you choose has a good reputation. Talk to previous customers to determine if the price they were given for their estimate was indeed the price (or close to) the final charges they paid on moving day. There are less reputable moving companies out there who provide low estimates to clients just to get their business, then on move day, the client is handed an invoice that is twice what the estimate was.

At Logan Moving, you will receive, in writing, a cost proposal for your local move, a written confirmation listing dates, times, etc…of your move, information regarding valuation (insurance), and a list of services we are planning to provide for you on move day.

Should you have a last minute settlement problem---no problem! We are available to our clients 24 hours a day. In addition to our regular office hours, we also offer to our customers, access to a member of our office staff late night and weekends for a local moving emergency.
